NRA Basic CCW Course

Description

The NRA CCW Course is intended for individuals with basic firearm safety and manipulation knowledge. Students will take part in classroom and live fire training, take a student examination, and complete a nationally standardized shooting qualification. Students will be required to provide the following equipment: -Pistol for concealed carry – minimum caliber of 9mm or .38 Special -Strong Side OWB Hip Holster appropriate for concealed carry–recommend form-fitted kydex, must cover trigger/trigger guard (No SERPA, thumb breaks, pocket, appendix or belly bands) -Belt designed to carry a holster and a firearm -Minimum of 200 rounds of factory ammunition suitable for practice -Spare magazines or speed loaders with appropriate pouches-at least two additional recommended (3 total) --Clothing appropriate for concealed carry -Eye protection & Hearing protection - recommend electronic
